For those who have already applied there are a range of ways students can keep in touch with where their application is up to: - Once a student has applied online, they can log in to their online account, by accessing the student finance homepage on Direct Gov http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/UniversityAndHigherEducation/StudentFinance/index.htm
Then click on the log in icon in the right hand margin and log in using their Customer Reference Number, password and secret answer. Their Account Home page should show the stage of their own application.
